Tŷ Skirrid
This cottage has the most wonderful aspect, set looking straight at the magical Skirrid mountain, it is breath taking.
Here, the kitchen design process was an exciting journey. We worked closely together with the customer to produce a layout, style and colour scheme with a cool and minimalist look. This kitchen was not going to upstage that amazing view. Their decision to have no wall cabinetry, just shelving, enhanced this simple approach. Whilst the solid oak worktops complimented their antique wooden chairs and table perfectly.
Style board: All cabinets are painted in Farrow and Ball’s Light Blue. The floating shelving is painted the same colour as the walls, enhancing that uncluttered look. The solid oak worktops are made from wide planked boards which are oiled for durability.
