This is a kitchen that sings summer, it’s light and airy with a wonderfully fresh colour palette. It has all the best elements, high pitched ceiling with windows, arched beams, original textured stonework and a natural wooden floor. The perfect backdrop for one of our kitchens.

This room was originally the sitting room and after much deliberation and many discussions it has now become the new kitchen, a perfect place for it too. Here the design and layout were very much led by the customer. There were some very definite do’s and don’ts; they did not want wall cabinets, so opted for our wooden shelves and needing plenty of storage for raw ingredients they chose our freestanding larder rather than using the base cabinets. The undermount sink was neatly positioned in the island to take advantage of the garden views and also for convenience to the dishwasher.

This is a such a great space, it’s elegant and spacious with a unique sense of its former purpose, hard to believe this beautiful room was also once home to a herd of cows!

Style Board: The main cabinets are painted in Little Greene’s Aquamarine and the Larder cabinet is a delightful pink also by Little Greene called Hellebore. The gorgeous golden tiles are from Fired Earths Neisha Crosland collection.
