Black Mountain View

A wonderfully rural position and with uninterrupted views looking out across the notorious Brecon Beacons. Formerly an old barn and now sympathetically converted into a family home.

With its rustic beams and riven slate floor this kitchen design needed to sit harmoniously in both style and colour within its environment. Here, our timeless and classic Shaker style, with it’s utilitarian simplicity fitted the remit perfectly. The brief also required a large capacity for the storage of dried goods, so we designed a semi-fitted larder cabinet with an attached small run of additional floor cabinets offering further storage.

Style Board: All cabinets painted in Farrow and Ball’s Manor House Gray. Worktops in Himalayan White granite and also wide planked solid Oak. Butlers sink with feature high granite splashback.
